Recently, I’ve been exploring "kumiko", a traditional Japanese woodworking technique that uses intricate patterns of precisely cut wooden pieces without nails or glue. My work focuses on applying these delicate lattice designs to modern contexts, such as lamps, where light interacts with the patterns to create warmth and atmosphere.
